This is our 12th year involved with the Michael Bartone Memorial Foundation “Scrum for 6” rugby tournament. My Favorite Plumber participates in and sponsors this tournament along with other events held through the foundation all through the year. Our company is one out of several sponsors to support the fight against ALS.
Michael Bartone lost his life in March 2002 during his battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. ALS, or Lou Gehrig’s disease, affects 5600 new Americans every year. “His battle is not lost, unless we quit.”
This year’s “Scrum For Six” event takes place Saturday May 10 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Brandywine Rugby Club Home Pitch, located at 1844 Howellmoore Road in West Grove, PA.
